My Expertise

Content Creation and Social Media Management

I believe the best marketing opportunity for consumer facing small businesses with limited Ad budgets is to use Social Media to create educational content, where you're on camera and speaking into the lens about whatever it is you do. Really what you're doing with educational content is you're displaying your depth of knowledge and expertise, which builds trust at scale. For example if you're a lawyer, I can help you make and post videos to various social channels explaining the details of different cases and how you helped those particular clients. These videos will be a more convincing sales pitch than you simply telling a potential client you're an expert and hoping they trust you. Studies have shown roughly 75% of consumers research a company via Social Media before visiting a store or making a purchase, and for most professional social channels, their most viewed content is their educational content, and frequently their best performing Meta Ads are repurposed educational content, because its boosting the content people actually want to see.

Funnel Design and Optimization

For a high-ticket small business, an effective Ads strategy involves multiple steps, or a sales funnel, starting off by creating Google or Meta Ads that direct leads to a landing page (a single page as opposed to a whole site with many pages) that may just be copy and images, or a form to fill out, or if the product or service is more complicated, it may need a Video Sales Letter (a short sales video) which helps to educate and qualify those leads ensuring your time isn't wasted speaking with someone who doesn't understand or is unlikely to buy your product or service, with the bottom of the landing page having a "call to action" to buy, request a quote, or book an appointment. With a small Ad budget, it often makes sense to bid on niche keywords within Google Ads as opposed to broader keywords, because the niche keywords are cheaper and the leads searching those keywords are more likely to convert. For example if you're a plumbing company, rather than bidding on the keyword "plumber" which is competitive and thus expensive and might attract low-ticket customers, instead bid on "hot water heater replacement", or one of your higher ticket services, so your Ad dollars only go towards attracting potential high-ticket customers.

AI tools and emerging tech

Many small businesses are still paying significant sums to retain an agency for SEO services, but not for Ad creation and management, despite significant changes to Google Search that has made SEO significantly less relevant. Basically Google wants you to pay them for top search placement, not an Agency using SEO techniques gaming their search algorithm. Let me explain: Depending on what you're searching, Google Local Service Ads may be featured at the top of a search query, followed by Google Pay-Per-Click Ads, followed by Google Maps Ads, with company websites only using SEO coming at the bottom of the first page. On top of these Google Search changes, SEO has also become easier to automate. After optimizing your website and Google Business Profile, both of which can be done with AI, the most important thing a small business can do for its SEO is to increase the frequency at which real customers give them Google reviews. One of the most effective ways to do this is to use the App Merchynt or the CRM Go High Level to automate SMS text messages to your customers, pulling their contact information from your customer database, requesting they leave a Google review of your product or service using the link provided within the text message.
